EPL: Arsenal move to top of Premier League table after 3-0 thrashing of Brighton

Arsenal moved to the top of the Premier League table after beating Brighton 3-0 on Saturday night.

Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard scored as Arsenal continued their dominance in 2024.

Bukayo Saka converted a penalty in the 33rd minute to give the visitors a goal.

After the second-half restart, Kai Harvec latched on to a loose ball from Jorginho and slotted past the Brighton keeper for the visitors’ second goal of the night in the 62nd minute.

Former Brighton man Leonardo Trossard scored Arsenal’s third goal of the evening to secure all three points for the Gunners in a thrilling encounter.

The result saw Arsenal leapfrog both Liverpool and Manchester City to the top of the Premier League table.

Meanwhile, Liverpool play their 31st game of the season tomorrow against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
