Long range UK weather forecast – Friday 10 May – Sunday 19 May

There is a strong signal of high pressure across the UK at the start of this period, bringing fine and dry weather for most areas, but there will be mist and fog in places throughout the morning.

The north-western parts of the UK may be an exception to this, where it is sometimes cloudy and rainy. The high is likely to hold its sway through the weekend before beginning to weaken next week.

So a continuation of mostly good weather is likely for the first few days, before a return to less unsettled conditions during the week.

Temperatures are expected to be slightly above normal in early May, with very warm days likely.
