In an interview with the BBC’s Sue Grey, she denied claims she was a spy and sparked outrage, with text messages the former Stormont official has sought to destroy.

Sue Gray is now chief of staff to Keir Starmer, who is sure to become prime minister in the coming months. But until May 2021, he was the most senior official in Stormont’s Department of Finance (DoF).
