A free soft play day has been announced at Lisburn Adventure Centre

A local charity offers free soft play sessions for children Co. Down for one day.

Childcare employers offer their own sessions Lisburn Adventure Centre, High Rise, Thursday 9 May.

Speaking about the move, Marie Marin, CEO of Employers For Childcare, said: “It’s really important to us that High Rise is inclusive and affordable for all families. We know this remains a very difficult time for families and we don’t want any child to miss out on the benefits of play because their parents can’t afford it.

“That’s why we’re opening the soft play area for all families this Thursday. Admission is completely free – it’s hassle-free – and the offer will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to help manage numbers. We hope as many families as possible can enjoy the fun at High Rise we hope.

Marie added: “Our charity’s Family Benefits Advice Service will be there to give parents the financial support they may be entitled to, including free childcare advice and guidance.

“We know that many families miss out on the support they need because they don’t know what’s available, so this will be a great opportunity to have an informal chat with one of our counselors, while the little ones burn off their energy. in our soft game.”
